PreQualified Credit Card (PQCC)

Credit Card is a thrust and focus area of the Bank and the Bank pragmatically handles and strategically focuses for inclusive growth of Credit Card Portfolio. To strengthen and broaden our credit card portfolio and also in an endeavor to extend our digital products, the Bank launched Pre-Qualified Credit Card through which selected customers of PNB can apply PNB Credit Card in Just Few Clicks.

Pre-Qualified customers are existing eligible customers of the Bank who qualifies all conditions for issuance of Credit Card. During the Application / Journey the customer would not require to upload / submit any document.

Features of PNB Pre-Qualified Credit Card product are as under:

  • Target Segment: Salaried customers drawing their salary through Bank Account maintained with our Bank, Staff/Ex-Staff Employees of the Bank, customers who are maintaining salary account in Rakshak scheme, Customers availing Housing or Personal or Vehicle Loan from our Bank, customers who are maintaining Quarterly Average Balance (QAB) of minimum Rs. 50,000/- with PNB, fulfilling certain other eligibility criteria.
  • Digital Channels: Eligible Customer under Pre-Qualified Credit Card Limit will be able to avail credit card across all Digital Channels Viz. Mobile Banking App-PNB ONE, Internet Banking & Bank’s Website apply.pnbcard.in
  • Offered Product Variant: Customers will be offered following variant of Credit Card on both RuPay & VISA Platform.

    • If the usage of card, in preceding year, is more than the credit limit of the card.
    • There is at least one retail transaction [i.e. other than fuel or cash withdrawal] in every calendar quarter.
    • Account has never been irregular in past.

Process for applying Pre-Qualified Credit Card through digital journey:

  • PNB eligible Customers will get a notification in PNBONE App.
  • Customer has to Log into PNB’s Mobile Banking App- PNB ONE or Internet Banking or Bank’s Website.
  • Click on hyperlink “Pre-Qualified Credit Card” or Offers Tab
  • Pre-Qualified credit limits and card variants will be shown.
  • Card Variant(s) has to be selected.
  • Expand the Personal details tab and fill required data.
  • Expand Nominee & Communication Details tab, fill required data & confirm the card delivery address. Enter OTP.
  • Once confirmed, virtual card will be received instantly by the customer. The physical card will be sent to the registered address of the customer maximum within 7 days.
  • The Customer will be able to use virtual card through Mobile App PNB Genie as per existing process flow for e-commerce transactions only. Transactional preference can be chnaged through Manage Cards in PNB GENIE App.

1. What are the pre-requisites for applying PreQualified Credit Card?

Salaried customers drawing their salary through Bank Account maintained with our Bank, Staff/Ex-Staff Employees of the Bank, Rakshak Employee, Customers availing Housing or Personal or Vehicle Loan from our Bank and Customers maintaining Quarterly Average Balance of minimum Rs. 50000/- . However, customer details fetched from above categories are assessed their eligibility only if they fulfil all nine eligibility criteria i.e., Age, Educational Qualification, Gross Annual Income, CIBIL Score (For Staff, Ex-staff, Salaried, Customers having account under Rakshak Plus Scheme à 700 & above, 0 & -1* AND for Housing Loan Borrowers, Car Loan Borrowers, Personal Loan Borrowers & QAB based customers à 750 & above ), No Delinquent Credit Facility (For last 12 months no instance of DPD 90+days), Overdue amount, Written off/Settled/Suit Filed amount, CIBIL Inquiry, No Live PNB Card.

4. Is there any Joining Fee in PQCC?

No

5. What is auto debit?

Auto debit is a procedure by which total amount due (TAD) or minimum due amount (MAD) is debited by the Bank from the customer`s account for credit to PNB Credit Card account on the due date.

6. What is the different modes of Payment of credit Card dues?

Followings are the modes of payment of credit card dues:

  • Depositing Cash in Branch
  • Transfer of funds
  • Clearing instruments like cheques/ drafts / pay order
  • Auto Debit (Standing Instructions)
  • Internet Banking

7. I want other than card variants shown as option to me in application journey, what should I do?

Credit Card variant shown are the highest variant entitlement based on various criteria on individual basis. Change in variant is not allowed within the journey. For any other card variant not available in PQCC journey, credit card needs to be apply  through Branch.

8. My Personal detail(s) shown in PNBONE is/are not correct, what should I do?

Personal or Demographic details needs to be change in CBS through branch which will auto reflect in application journey. Please contact your base branch to update details in CBS.

9. When can I receive Credit Card if option Physical Card is selected?

The total turnaround time involved in issuance of Credit Card till physical delivery is 15 days subject to completion of all documents and adherence of Bank guidelines.

10. Can I apply for Add on Card through PQCC application journey?

No. However you can apply for Add On Card through existing Process. Please visit www.pnbcard.in website for more details.

11. Can I choose for Auto Debit through PQCC application journey?
